Bristol-Plymouth Moving & Storage, Inc., Receives 2014 Paul Arpin Award
- Bristol-Plymouth Moving & Storage, Inc., joined Arpin Van Lines as a Prime agent in 1988, just five years after opening the business. The relationship continued all the way through 2020, when the van line was acquired by the oldest and fourth-largest moving network in the country, Bekins Van Lines, Inc. In 2022, a few years after joining the overall Bekins system, Bristol-Plymouth Moving & Storage became a Bekins agent.
- Everyone at Bristol-Plymouth fondly remembers working with Arpin Van Lines for more than 30 years, with the moving company’s 2014 distinction as the Paul Arpin Award winner a highlight.
- Arpin Van Lines named Bristol-Plymouth as the 2014 recipient of the Paul Arpin Award and honored the company as its agent convention held at Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey, Calif., in Oct. 2014. Then-president and CEO of Arpin and son of Paul Arpin, David Arpin, said:
- “Peter and Diana Mosher are keenly aware of the challenges drivers face and treat them with the utmost respect. Peter, Diana, and the team carry on the true spirit of my father’s legacy.”
- Prior to his passing, Paul Arpin personally selected the recipient of this award named in his honor. He was particularly concerned and interested in all the drivers who represented Arpin and wanted to recognize the agency that most respected the hard work and dedication provided by these individuals, and by all with whom they came into contact.
- Bristol-Plymouth Moving & Storage, Inc., is a family owned and operated full-service company and has provided gold-quality packing, moving and storage services since 1983. Peter Mosher continues to work as a driver, and Diana’s is an important voice within the Bekins agency network.
